The Greatest Wimbledon Final in History!

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, wielding their racquets like magic wands, played into the late evening hours in London, and delighted millions with their artistry today. Federer, vying for his 6th Wimbledon title, came into his own in the 3rd and 4th sets, to sqeak past Nadal in tie-breakers and keep his hopes alive.

Nadal, appearing as fresh in the 5th set as in the first games of the match, was invincible on serve, broken only once throughout the match. He closed out the match with a great serve and peerless backhand that Federer could only push into the net in frustration.

The battle between these great champions will live on in tennis lore. But what took my breath away was their humility and graciousness, Roger in defeat and Rafa in victory.

In the spirit of the true zen master, Roger appeared calm and unruffled, despite having suffered arguably the most punishing loss of his career.

Nadal, for his part, acknowledged Roger as 'the greatest tennis player in history' and accepted his title with verve and suavity.

It was an honor to watch the match, and as a tennis aficionado, I see nothing but great things for the future of tennis worldwide.
