Great day at Darrell Royal Memorial Stadium
Had a fantastic time at the Texas-Texas Tech football game saturday. Texas mauled a strong Tech offense, holding Tech to 17 points and mounting a terrific offense to win 52-17.
Texas quarterback Vince Young had a pair of interceptions early, but redeemed himself with scoring pitches to Pittman and his other receivers early in the second half to set up an insurmountable lead. The defense played their hearts out, corner Michael Huff actually playing EVERY defensive snap to ensure a Texas victory.
The weather was terrific, 80,000+ screaming fans, a good jumbo dog at the concessions, and a good group of people sitting all around me made it a memorable outing. The Horns will meet the USC Trojans and it will be Veni, Vidi, Vici, my friends...
